Members of the Montgomery County Board of Elections were sworn in Monday.
They were appointed by Maryland Gov. Wes Moore (D) and confirmed by the state Senate, per a release from the county.
The board is now majority Democrats, under state law, to reflect the party of the governor.
Diane Nash Dillon (R), Amoretta (Amie) Hoeber (R), David Naimon (D), and Alexander Vincent (R) were reappointed. Keyna Anyiam (D), Daniel Koroma (D) and Margie Delao (D) were newly appointed.
Delao and Vincent are substitute members. Members serve four-year terms.
The ceremony was held at Montgomery College’s Germantown campus.
The board unanimously elected Naimon for board president and Koroma for vice president after the swearing-in, and Hoeber was unanimously elected as secretary.
