Montgomery County Department of Police, Major Crimes Division, have identified the body found in Aspen Hill in a creek along Matthew Henson Trail near Georgia Avenue and Hewitt Avenue.
Lawrence Wilson, 52, was discovered at approximately 11:57 a.m. on Wednesday by 4th District officers and Fire and Rescue personnel. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) in Baltimore received Wilson’s remains, and the autopsy results are pending.
There is currently no foul play suspected in Wilson’s death as the investigation is in progress. If you have any information about Wilson’s death, please call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
