Reports of a bomb threat interrupted an otherwise typical Friday night at Westfield Montgomery mall in Bethesda.
The mall was evacuated as a precaution as police investigated the threat. About an hour later, police determined the threat was “not valid.” According to police, the mall was cleared and turned back over to mall security.
