Montgomery County’s indoor mask mandate, which was lifted less than 72 hours ago, will now be reinstated at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday unless the County Council, acting as the Board of Health, votes on Tuesday to amend the regulation that dictated the decision to reinstate based on “substantial transmission.” The County announced the decision Saturday night.
