Montgomery County’s “Earth Month” festivities will continue beyond April, with “Every Day is Earth Day” set for May 5.
The event will be focused towards ages 2-14, marked by paintings and other arts-and-crafts projects.
Hosted by Montgomery Parks, participants will learn about the importance of sustainability.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton.
Registration is free and though not required, is encouraged.
