Bullis Track Phenom Wilson Heading to Paris Olympics

It’s official. Track star Quincy Wilson, from Bullis School in Potomac, is heading to the Paris Olympics as part of the U.S. team’s 4 x 400 meter relay pool. Wilson’s coach Joe Lee confirmed to MCM that he got the call Sunday night and relayed the info to Wilson. Lee said that Wilson was “beside himself excited jumping up and down like a typical teenager.” Lee said Wilson “is a high character kid, a straight A student, very disciplined with a  huge work ethic and a no quit attitude.”

Wilson, 16, becomes the youngest U.S. male track and field athlete to make an Olympic team. Wilson finished 6th in the men’s 400 meter final at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR.
