One person was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a car fell from a Chevy Chase parking garage Wednesday morning, according to County Fire and Rescue Service Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
The car crashed through a railing from the fifth floor of the garage at 5454 Wisconsin Ave. near the Barlow Building, and plunged about 40 feet down to the area where the garage entrance is.
The car landed upside down on its roof and the person inside got out on their own, according to Piringer.
