A children’s daycare and educational facility will open a new location in Germantown.
Hope Grows Child Development Center selected its third Montgomery County location in the Fox Chapel Shopping Center at 19721 North Frederick Road, per a release. The new location will take up most of the space formerly used by Gold’s Gym.
A lease was signed for 10,803 square feet of space, according to Tuesday’s release. It is expected to be operational in May. The center has other locations in Germantown and Montgomery Village.
The child development center offers programming including before and after-school daycare and serves infants to school-age children.
“The center focuses on providing a nurturing and educational environment with an emphasis on intellect and social development and maintaining an atmosphere that promotes respect for diversity, mutual trust and personal and social responsibility,” the release reads.
“The success of our first two childcare and educational centers have provided us tremendous confidence to open another facility serving the needs of Montgomery County-area parents and families and we are extremely gratified by the on-going support of the community,” stated Founder and Owner Salema Horn in the release.
She anticipates expanding to Olney and Silver Spring in the near future. The center is working to go international by 2024.
