The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory that begins Monday at midnight and is effect until 8 a.m. on Tuesday for Northwest Montgomery County and surrounding areas. The advisory includes Germantown and Damascus.
Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to the 30s – as low as 33 degrees – and some areas of the county will experience frost. Unprotected vegetation is sensitive to freezing temperatures and may be killed or damaged if left uncovered.
