There was lots to celebrate at Clarksburg High School Friday morning. At a pep rally in the basketball gym, the school’s girls flag football team was honored for being the inaugural Maryland state champs. Not to be outdone, the Washington Commanders, who will be playing the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game Sunday in Philadelphia, were also recognized and cheered wildly.
A couple of former Commanders players, wide receiver Josh Morgan and linebackers Rocky McIntosh, took part in the festivities.
