Local organization CollegeTracks is celebrating 20 years of service to Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) students on Tuesday, July 25 at 9 a.m.
CollegeTracks, whose motto is “building equity, removing barriers,” helps students apply to college and navigate the higher education world. They provide help with applications, essays, scholarships, networking and navigating other aspects of higher education. College Tracks particularly aims to help first generation and underrepresented students to give them the tools and guidance to succeed.
The organization, based in Silver Spring, will be honored during a brief ceremony and proclamation in the Council Chambers in Rockville.
