Montgomery County Commission on Aging will continue their goal of supporting older residents to live active, healthy, and independent lives with two free events this month. The first event will be held on Monday, Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. in Silver Spring’s Holiday Park Senior Center. The second event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2:30 p.m. at Bethesda’s Bannockburn Community Clubhouse.
According to the press release, these events will give residents an opportunity to learn about programs and services that the county provides for older adults. Some of the programs and services that the county provides are wellness and recreation activities, caregiving resources, meal programs, transportation options and opportunities for learning and employment. Those who go to the events will have an opportunity to voice their concerns and interests with the Commission.
No registration is required for these events. For more information, call 240-777-3000.
