The Wheaton Urban District Advisory Committee is hosting a community conversation about “Supporting Youth in Crisis” on Tuesday, July 11.
During the meeting, community members and businesses can voice their concerns about mental health, addiction and violence among youth to local officials.
County agencies will have tables with information and resources about mental health awareness, Narcan kit distribution and training, substance abuse, violence and sexual harm.
Members of the Wheaton Urban District Advisory Committee were appointed by the county executive and confirmed by the County Council. They advise Montgomery County on matters impacting the Wheaton Urban District.
The meeting will take place at 2425 Reedie Drive in the second floor planning room from 7-9 p.m.
