On Tuesday evening, the Montgomery County Council held a webinar to reach out to federal workers. Called “United in Service and Support” it marked the first in a series of online efforts to provide information and guidance to the more than 75 thousand government employees in the county.
Every member of the County Council, County Executive Marc Elrich and Senator Chris Van Hollen joined to provide insights and answer questions. But one person who spoke had a personal story to tell. Mary Beth Hastings shared her perspective with webinar attendees.
