Montgomery County Council President Sidney Katz will host his next business briefing Friday, Oct. 2 from 12:30 to 1 p.m. The virtual briefing will take place on Zoom.
Katz will be accompanied by Kelly Leonard, host for Montgomery Community Media’s Small Business Network, as well as Katheryn Hoerster, owner and operator of Nothing Bundt Cakes in Silver Spring. The group will focus on business and economic development amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Local businesses are nothing less than the backbone of our County’s economy, and they will play a critical role in our long-term recovery,” said Council President Katz. “As a former small business owner, I recognize that now is the time for the County government and for residents to rally around and support our local businesses.”
