County Claims Four Most Diverse Cities in America

Four Montgomery County cities ranked in the top 15 of WalletHub’s report, “2024’s Most Diverse Cities in America“. Gaithersburg ranks as #1, with Silver Spring at #2, Germantown at #3, and Rockville at #15.

According to WalletHub, this report concludes their diversity study series. They determined the final list by combining household and religious diversity with their previous reports on socioeconomic, cultural, and economic diversity. They tallied scores across these five categories for 501 of the largest cities using 13 measurements.

In the “Cultural Diversity” category alone, Montgomery County excelled, with Gaithersburg at #1, Germantown at #3, Silver Spring at #4, and Rockville at #8.
