Montgomery Parks is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day celebration Saturday, March 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Parks Ale Trail at Rock Creek Regional Park.
The main festival will be held in the parking lot of Lake Needwood with food selections from an array of local vendors, such as Corned Beef King and Catalyst Hot Dogs.
Some of the activities offered for kids include: tree climbing, lawn games, inflatable rides, and nature activities led by Nature on Wheels.
Attendees can also enjoy a live performance from a local band called Capital Effect.
The Westside Trail will be open for a 2.85 mile hike, with more food, drink and music at the halfway point.
