County Leaders to Hold Virtual Service and Support Information Session

Montgomery County leaders will host the fourth United in Service and Support virtual community meeting on Wednesday, April 2, at 7 p.m. via Zoom, according to a press release.

The session will feature Councilmember Laurie-Ann Sayles and representatives from the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC), WorkSource Montgomery, and the Montgomery County Office of Human Resources.

The focus will be on career opportunities and pathways to federal employment.

Amid uncertainty in the federal workforce, local leaders aim to provide support and essential resources for residents.

This event is part of a biweekly series hosted by the Montgomery County Council, covering employment, workforce development, unemployment benefits, immigration, housing, health, and other county services.

Residents are encouraged to log in at 6:50 p.m. to join the session.

A Council representative will monitor the Q&A feature to maintain privacy and ensure a respectful discussion.

Questions can be submitted anytime via this form and  Council’s resource webpage, which also offers a wide range of county service information.

The webinar will be available in Spanish, broadcast on County Cable Montgomery, and streamed on the Council’s YouTube page.
