Montgomery County Public Libraries (MCPL) will host three free virtual talks featuring authors Eman Quotah, Ruby Namdar and Laila el-Haddad, according to a press release.
“We are delighted to work with our partners and bring these incredibly accomplished authors to MCPL to share their stories with Montgomery County residents,” MCPL director Anita Vassallo said in the press release. “This is a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about their work and their creative processes.”
The free programs will take place as follows:
- Eman Quotah: April 19 6-7 p.m., registration information here.
Quotah will discuss her novel “Bride of the Sea.” - Ruby Namdar: May 10 7-8 p.m., registration information here.
Namdar will present his book “The Ruined House.” - Laila el-Haddad: June 14 7-8 p.m., registration information here.
el-Haddad will discuss her work “The Gaza Kitchen: A Palestinian Culinary Journey.”
This series is in partnership with the Office of Community Partnerships’ Middle Eastern American Advisory Group and the Baltimore Luxor Alexandria Sister City Committee.
