Montgomery County officials are urging parents to get their children vaccinated now before the back-to-school rush begins in late August and early September. The first day of school for MCPS is August 26.
Preschool children through high school students can get the vaccines from their personal doctor or they can go to a county health clinic.
The county clinics provide the vaccinations at no cost. Parents must be present and have ID and immunization record if possible. Walk ins are allowed, but appointments are recommended.
Appointments can be made online or by phone. The clinics include:
Dennis Avenue Health Center – 240-777-1050
Germantown Health Center – 240-777-3380
Silver Spring Health Center – 240-777-3160
