With temperatures predicted to be in the 90s throughout this week and into next, Montgomery County is offering free fans and helpful advice.
To receive a fan, call the Department of Health and Human Services at 240-777-3000.
County Chief Health Officer Dr. Kisha Davis urged residents to check in on neighbors and never leave children or pets in hot cars. She also advised everyone to stay out of the sun as much as possible and stay hydrated.
“Make sure you are looking out for each other,” Davis said.
