Montgomery County Recreation Department is hosting two summer camp fairs in January to help families choose summer programming best suited for their children.
At the fairs, families will have the chance to meet recreation staff, talk with instructors, learn about financial aid, and participate in games and activities, according to a news release.
Montgomery County Recreation provides hundreds of summer camp programs at locations throughout the County and encourages parents to plan early as many camps fill up quickly. Registration for county summer camp programs will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
The summer camp guide will be available online beginning Friday, Jan. 5.
The two fairs will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the following locations:
- Jan. 7 at the Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac Community Recreation Center, located at 13850 Travilah Road in Rockville
- Jan. 14 at the East County Community Recreation Center, located at 3310 Gateshead Manor Way in Silver Spring
We are hosting two free summer camp fairs in January. The first will take place on Sunday, Jan. 7, at North Potomac CRC, and the second at East County CRC on Sunday, Jan. 14. Both fairs will take place from 1 – 4 p.m.
