Montgomery County recycling and trash collections will operate on a weather “slide” schedule the week of Jan. 13. The schedule adjustment is due to a recent winter storm.
The modified collection schedule begins Monday, Jan. 13, and runs through Saturday, Jan. 18.
Collections for Friday, Jan. 10 will shift to Monday, Jan. 13. Each subsequent collection day will slide by one day, with the last pickups occurring on Saturday, Jan. 18.
Revised Schedule:
Friday, Jan. 10 ➡ Monday, Jan. 13
Monday, Jan. 13 ➡ Tuesday, Jan. 14
Tuesday, Jan. 14 ➡ Wednesday, Jan. 15
Wednesday, Jan. 15 ➡ Thursday, Jan. 16
Thursday, Jan. 16 ➡ Friday, Jan. 17
Friday, Jan. 17 ➡ Saturday, Jan. 18
Residents with private trash collection or those living in municipalities should verify schedules with their hauler or community manager, as this announcement may not apply.
