County Seeks Innovation Alley Exhibitors for 2025 Energy Summit

The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) invites exhibitors to participate in Innovation Alley at the 2025 Energy Summit. The summit, now in its 12th year, will be held April 8-9 at the Silver Spring Civic Building, located at 1 Veterans Plaza.

Innovation Alley will feature advanced products and services designed to enhance energy performance, expand renewable energy use, and reduce environmental impact in buildings. Exhibitors can apply online through the Montgomery County Energy Summit website. Applications are due by Jan. 3.

“Montgomery County continues to champion sustainable initiatives through policies and programs that move the building sector toward an energy-efficient, low-carbon future,” said County Executive Marc Elrich. “Innovation Alley provides a unique platform for solution providers to connect directly with decision-makers in the commercial building sector.”

The DEP is seeking exhibitors specializing in interactive solutions for:

  • Building automation and controls
  • Building envelope improvements
  • Electric vehicle charging solutions
  • Energy efficiency technologies
  • HVAC optimization
  • Lighting innovations
  • Renewable energy systems

“Innovation Alley is another great example of community-driven solutions and has become an essential component of the Energy Summit,” said DEP Director Jon Monger. “The interactive demonstrations and direct connections made here have led to significant improvements in building performance throughout Montgomery County. We look forward to showcasing the latest solutions that will help our building owners meet and exceed their energy performance goals.”

The 2025 Energy Summit expects over 300 attendees, including building owners, property managers, developers, energy contractors, and sustainability professionals from the DMV area.
