Residents participating in Dry January can get discounts on non-alcoholic beverages at county retail alcohol stores.
Dry January is a challenge in which participants abstain from drinking alcohol during the month, particularly for health reasons.
Montgomery County Alcohol Beverage Services (ABS) offers 23 non-alcoholic products in its stores, County Executive Marc Elrich stated in a release.
“ABS even has the just-released Mionetto zero-proof sparkling wine that has caught the attention of prosecco enthusiasts,” according to Elrich. There will also be scheduled tastings held so customers can sample alcohol-free drinks.
