As of Saturday morning, the Maryland Department of Health reports 3,483 cases of COVID-19 in Montgomery County, which is an increase of 256 cases from the 3,227 cases reported Friday.
The health department reports that 152 Montgomery County residents have died from COVID-19. This is an increase of 17 deaths since Friday. The state also reports the number of probable deaths which have not yet been confirmed with COVID-19 testing. The number of probable deaths is 19.
As of Saturday morning, Maryland reports 17,766 cases of COVID-19, which is an increase of 1,150 that were reported Friday.
The total number of deaths in Maryland due to COVID-19 as currently reported is 797, an increase of 74 since Friday.
Of the total Maryland cases, 1,408 are currently in the hospital. A total of 1,165 patients have been released from isolation.
According to the Maryland Department of Health, there have been 71,357 negative coronavirus tests in the state.
