After a very rainy week, Saturday delivered a spectacular respite in the form of blue skies and perfect temperatures. For those who were feeling cooped up, it was a great opportunity to walk, bike, play or just soak up the sun. And to watch a flyover.
Many people gathered late Saturday morning outside of hospitals, shopping malls, the National Mall and others places with a good view of the much anticipated flyover by the US Navy’s Blue Angels and the Air Force’s Thunderbirds honoring first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
