Mekhi Thomas, 23, of Washington, D.C. was arrested in connection with an attempted rape Thursday aboard a Red Line metro train by Silver Spring.
He was charged with attempted rate, assault, robbery and other charges.
Thomas was arrested by Metro Transit Police and is being held on no bond.
