A fire engulfed a garage in Damascus Tuesday afternoon. The Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service responded to the call on the 9300 block Heather Field Court near Bonny Brook Lane, according to a tweet by County Fire & Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
Investigators say that the fire was caused by combustibles being stored too close to a used lawn mower. The damages are estimated to be about $100,000. Despite the extensive damage, no injuries were reported.
