Voters trickled into Damascus High School Tuesday. By 11 a.m., only 167 residents had cast votes.
Most of the people said they always vote, and they consider it a duty. “I have voted in every election since I was 18,” said Mark Smith, adding he does it so the world will be better for himself and his family.
LeAnna Richards said she worries most about the economy and border control issues while Karin Granado is most concerned with guns and violence.
While several voters were unaware that the results from this primary election would not be available until probably mid-August, they all said that did not surprise them.
