Artists can enter submissions to create the official 2023 Montgomery County Pride decal.
The county’s Department of Health and Human Services and the Office of Community Partnerships announced the call to artists and designers in Montgomery County, per a release.
The deadline to submit is Thursday, June 1. Residents can see online application details here on the Montgomery County Pride website.
The design that wins will be distributed for businesses, nonprofits, county government and others to use as public support for LGBTQ+ communities.
Per the release, the county’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Board will pick up to five designs for display at pride month events and on social media for voting.
There are two categories for submission: adults ages 23+ and youth/young adults under 23. The winning design from the younger category will be used at schools and youth-serving establishments.
