Denizens Brewing Company, which opened in 2014 in Silver Spring, is moving to Riverdale in October.
According to co-founder and owner Julie Verratti, the last day will be Oct. 22. Their 10-year-lease has ended at its East West Highway location, she said in a video that was released Tuesday afternoon.
“It’s an end of an era for us and the end of a chapter,” Verratti said.
Denizens opened the larger facility in Riverdale in Prince George’s County in 2019.
Astro Lab, a craft brewery on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, closed in May. Silver Branch Brewery on Colesville Road in Silver Spring is still operating.
