Detectives investigate a series of thefts in Bethesda committed by the same suspect, according to police.
Police posted surveillance video and ask for the public’s help identifying him, per a release from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
On April 27, the suspect entered an office suite in the 4300 block of East West Highway, stole a victim’s credit cards and used them at an Apple store and Safeway, according to police. The next day on April 28, a victim reported their wallet was missing from an office suite in the 6600 block of Rockledge Drive. Police said the suspect stole the victim’s credit cards and used them at an Apple store. Finally, last week on June 21, the suspect went into an office suite in the 6900 block of Rockledge Drive and stole a victim’s credit cards and also used them at an Apple store.
Police describe the suspect as “a Black male, with locs or braided hairstyle, with an athletic build.”

Up to $10,000 is offered for information that leads to the suspect’s arrest. Callers can be anonymous.
