County detectives are investigating auto-related crimes in Olney, according to a press release from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD). Detectives released a surveillance video of two people believed to be connected to the crimes.
The video shows the two individuals entering a resident’s car on Grapevine Way last May. They did not take anything. However, the individuals stole two bank cards from a resident’s car on Moss Side Lane. They have used the cards at Target, according to police.
Earlier this month, MCPD expanded a Auto Theft initiative program to help residents locate stolen vehicles. Participants must live in the county and own a registered vehicle.
