It happened shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday. A 46-year-old Dickerson man died in a single-car wreck Sunday night, according to a statement from the Montgomery County police.
Jerry Lee Ray Thompson Sr. died after his southbound 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 struck several trees, according to preliminary findings of the police investigation.
The incident occurred before 9:51 p.m. on Comus Road near Barley Field Lane, police said.
Thompson was pronounced dead on the scene.
