A new restaurant chain is coming to Montgomery County.
DIG, “an upscale fast-casual brand serving chef-prepared seasonal comfort food,” will host the grand opening of its first Maryland location at 4733 Elm St. in Bethesda on Feb. 24 at 11 a.m.
On Friday, MCM stopped by the restaurant for a sneak-peek preview.
“The menu offers a variety of scratch-made dishes including plates, salads and desserts prepared daily by a chef and culinary team,” the company said.
All walk-in sales on opening day will go to Manna Food Center, a county food bank based in Silver Spring, the restaurant said in a press release.
The first 100 customers to arrive at the event will receive free tote bags and seltzers. They’ll also get a chance to win a three-month membership to Equinox Bethesda Fitness Club, a luxury gym near the restaurant.
DIG will also give away free meals 11 a.m to 8 p.m. Feb. 23 in a “See What’s Cooking” menu preview. Customers who visit can bring non-perishable foods to donate to Manna Food Center, the restaurant said.
