Local organizations were featured during an event last week outside the Silver Spring Recreation and Aquatic Center.
Residents explored tables set up Friday at Elizabeth Square, which is the area around the Silver Spring Recreation and Aquatic Center and The Leggett apartments, behind Montgomery Community Media’s Silver Spring Media Lab.
Featured organizations included the Recreation and Aquatic Center, Holy Cross Health, The Leggett and Alexander House apartments, Montgomery Community Media, Docs in Progress, Kefa Cafe, the U.S. Chess Center, and the county police department. The event also featured games and activities like a bean bag toss.
