
After high winds toppled a tree onto a car in Potomac Sunday afternoon, the driver of the vehicle “escaped death by inches” according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service (MCFRS).
MCFRS responded Sunday at approximately 3:30 p.m. to River Road between Newbridge Drive and Persimmon Tree Road.
The driver, a 27-year-old male, was transported with traumatic injury according to MCFRS.
He received significant injury, self-extricated himself and took life-saving action (administered initial medical action) until MCFRS Emergency Medical and Integrated Healthcare Services arrived to provide ‘advanced’ care.
