Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback and former Bullis School star Dwayne Haskins, Jr. was killed Saturday morning after being hit by a vehicle in South Florida according to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter who broke the news.
Haskins, 24, was in Florida training with some of his Pittsburgh Steelers teammates. He was drafted by the Washington Commanders in 2019 in the first round after a standout career at Ohio State.
He was born in New Jersey but his family moved to Montgomery County his freshman year of high school where he was heavily recruited while playing at the Bullis School in Potomac.

Dwayne Haskins, a standout at Ohio State before becoming Washington’s first-round pick and playing in Pittsburgh, died this morning when he got hit by a car in South Florida, per his agent Cedric Saunders. Haskins would have turned 25 years old on May 3.
