Montgomery County voters can cast their ballots for the primary election at 14 early voting centers beginning Thursday, May 2 through Thursday, May 9. Each early voting center is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Registered voters may cast a ballot at any early voting center using the same voting equipment that will be available on Election Day, Tuesday, May 14. Bus service is available to all centers through the county’s Ride On bus service and Metrobus.
Montgomery County residents who are eligible but not yet registered to vote may do so during early voting or on Election Day. Voting officials will require proof of Montgomery County residency, such as a Maryland driver’s license or learner’s permit, a Maryland identification card, or other proof of residence (e.g., a paycheck, bank statement, utility bill, or other government document with a name and address).

Voters who requested a mail-in ballot but decide to vote in person during early voting or on Election Day will be required to cast a provisional ballot.
