Ahead of a budget public hearing Tuesday evening, teachers and parents rallied outside the county council building in Rockville to call on councilmembers to fully fund the proposed budget of more than $3.6 billion for schools.
The county council held two public hearings on Tuesday for County Executive Marc Elrich’s proposed Fiscal Year 2026 operating budget.
