Albert Einstein High School alum Arnold Ebiketie was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft Friday night.

Born in Cameroon, Ebiketie (prronounounczed Ebbuh-KATY) attended Richard Montgomery before transferring to Einstein. He was the sixth pick in the second round and the 38th overall pick.
Ebiketie, a 6’2″ defensive end, was quite the athlete being named 2016 co-Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Sentinel. He was also Washington Post All-Metro honorable mention in football his senior year while also playing basketball and participating in track and field (sprints and high jump).
The 23 year-old starred in the classroom as well at Temple being named to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic team twice in three years while receiving All-AAC second team football honors in 2020.
For his senior year, Ebiketie transferred to Penn State University where he had a breakout season that included the following accolades.

- Reese’s Senior Bowl All-American
