In a effort to prevent severe and fatal traffic-related accidents, the Vision Zero initiative has been put in place. The goal is to eliminate severe and fatal collisions by 2030 throughout the county by using an Action Plan that is geared toward keeping pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers safe.
During a press conference on Monday, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich, along with other local officials, addressed the next steps that will implemented in the initiative.
