There’s grant funding available to help local restaurant and retail establishments cover the cost of adjusting ways they interact with customers amid the COVID-19 pandemic- especially during the winter months.
The 3R Initiative Restaurant and Retail Grant will provide up to $5,000 to help support delivery service fees, inventory costs, E-commerce solutions, and other COVID-related business expenses. Eligible businesses in the county can apply through Nov. 5.
“Any locally-owned restaurant or retailer with fewer than 100 employees can apply,” said County Executive Marc Elrich during a weekly virtual media briefing on Wednesday.
Elrich says the 3R Initiative Restaurant and Retail Grant is designed to supplement, not duplicate or replace existing COVID-19 related funding programs.
