The county’s first Sheetz opened in Gaithersburg.
The restaurant and convenience chain has a new location at 751 Progress Way. A grand opening was held on Thursday, and gas prices were as low as $2.99 per gallon to kick off the opening.
The reduced gas prices last until 11:59 p.m. Friday. Plus, 10 cents from every gallon sold over the period will be donated to the Special Olympics of Maryland.
Nearby Royal Farms on Watkins Mill Road matched the $2.99 per gallon price.
