1. Face Masks Required on Buses: Starting today, passengers on Ride On buses must wear face masks. Any passenger who does not comply with this mandate “may be directed not to board the vehicle or to exit the vehicle.” Face coverings can include any article that snugly covers the mouth and nose, like cloth masks, scarves, and bandanas.
2. COVID-19 Mental Health Webinar: Congressman David Trone will host a mental health webinar with a panel of experts from the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Sheppard Pratt Health Systems, and Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security today from noon to 1 p.m. Register for the webinar here.
3. County Council Public Hearings: The Montgomery County Council holds virtual public hearings on the Fiscal Year 2021 Operating Budget at 1:30 and 7 p.m.
4. COVID-19 Briefing: Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich holds a virtual community briefing today from 5 to 6:30 p.m. to discuss the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on residents. Elrich will be joined by Dr. Travis Gayles, Marcus Jones, Dr. Jack Smith, and Heather Bruskin. Watch live on the County’s website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
5.
