3. Naloxone/Narcan Training:Residents concerned about a friend or family member with an opioid addiction are invited to attend. This is a free training session to learn about reducing unintentional and life-threatening opioid overdoses with the use of Narcan, a prescription medication that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose. This will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Montgomery County Health and Human Services building [8818 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring].
4. Rockville Holiday Drive Volunteers Needed: The Rockville Holiday Drive relies on a collaborative partnership with local churches, schools, civic organizations, service clubs, businesses, social service agencies, and individuals working together to distribute holiday baskets to families and seniors in need.
