1. County Council Happenings: The council will interview applicants to serve on the new Policing Advisory Commission at 4:30 p.m. today. Two committees meet virtually today and may be viewed live on YouTube or Facebook. The Planning, Housing, and Economic Development Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. The Education and Culture Committee meets at 1:30 p.m.
2. Silver Spring Restaurants: The Silver Spring Regional Service Center shared these resources for finding a restaurant:

4. Bill Nye on Face Masks: The Science Guy took to the video sharing social networking service TikTok to demonstrate why face masks are important in combating the spread of COVID-19.

5. MCM Youth Summer Camp: Montgomery Community Media (MCM) will offer four one-week virtual camps for youth ages 12 and up. The Podcasting Camp will be offered the week of July 13th and the week of July 27. The Smartphone Video Production Camp will be offered the week of July 20 and the week of August 3.
