It’s Friday, July 31, and here are five things to know in Montgomery County.
1. Maryland Face Covering Order: Governor Hogan’s expanded order announced Thursday takes effect today at 5 p.m. The order requires “all Marylanders over the age of five to wear face coverings in the public spaces of all businesses across the state. Face coverings will also be required in outdoor public areas, whenever it is not possible to maintain physical distancing.”
MD is expanding its current masking order effect July 31 at 5 p.m. Wearing a mask is the best way to keep you and your family safe, to keep people out of the hospital, and to keep Maryland open for business. #MasksOnMaryland 👀👇 pic.twitter.com/DhLADsdzWQ
