1. Charter Review Commission Seeks Public Input: From 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Council Office Building’s 3rd floor hearing room in Rockville, the public is invited to participate in a listening session to discuss the make-up of the Montgomery County Council. Here’s more information.
2. Community Meeting on the State of Education: Councilmember Craig Rice, Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Jack Smith, Montgomery College President DeRionne Pollard, and The Universities at Shady Grove Executive Director Stewart Edelstein are hosting a community meeting to present the state of education in the county from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Northwood High School in Silver Spring.

3. Listening Session on Silver Spring Parking Lot District: The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is partnering with the Silver Spring Urban District (SSUD) to hold a listening session about Silver Spring Parking Lot District’s fiscal health and parking rates. The session begins at 6:30 p.m. and takes place in downtown Silver Spring’s Civic Building located at 1 Veterans Plaza.

4. Registration for City of Gaithersburg Recreation Activities: City of Gaithersburg residents can start registering for its Department of Parks, Recreation and Culture’s spring sports, spring classes and programs, and summer camps through the RecXpress website.
5. A Panel Conversation with “Yes She Can” Contributors: Both Taylor Lustig and Kalisha Dessources Figures shared their experiences in the book “Yes She Can: 10 Stories of Hope & Change from Young Female Staffers of the Obama White House.” Lustig and Figures will be interviewed by Becky Kauff from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bender JCC of Greater Washington in Rockville.
